Hills Sport Shop has sponsored a racing team or teams in the Panhandle area for 40 years. For information about past Hills sponsored athletes see the History page. We feel that working with racers places us in touch with the newest technology, in the specific conditions of our area. We do not have a specific Hills Sport Shop team at present, but we cosponsor the two local teams below. We also sponsor and have sponsored hundreds of local cycling events over the years. We are committed to encouraging the sport of cycling in West Texas.

National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) mountain bike racing team in Amarillo, TX. It has grown to one of the larger high school teams around. It is coached by former Hills Sport Shop employee and team rider Ian Margrave.
